Shola David OLA-FADUNSIN, is a Reader (Associate Professor) and the immediate past Acting Head of the Department of Veterinary Parasitology and Entomology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria.
He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Master of Science (in Veterinary Parasitology) from the University of Ibadan. He bagged his PhD in Parasitology from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
He is a Fellow of the College of Veterinary Surgeons Nigeria (FCVSN), and has almost a decade of university teaching, research, and administrative experience (Ag. Head of Department, Departmental Examination Officer, Assistant Editor of Savannah Veterinary Journal, amongst others).
His areas of research interest cover areas of Veterinary Parasitology and Entomology with a bias in Molecular Parasitology.
He has to his credit over seventy scientific publications in reputable national and international journals. He has successfully supervised eight undergraduate projects, and he is currently supervising one Masters dissertation and three PhD theses.
